Café and Pub ‘1892’ |
The restaurant takes pride in cooking meals in the good old-fashioned way. Our bread is freshly baked. We make our own relishes and pickles. Our ‘Star’ Herring has been marinated in old-fashioned beer. All the culinary efforts fill the kitchens with a mouth-watering fragrance. All the dishes are made from scratch in our own kitchen. See the Menu Card.
Let a superb hand-brewed beer accompany your meal. Why don’t you try out a Stjerne (Star) bottle of lager with its 1947 label from the Workers’ Brewery ‘Stjernen’ or a Stauning Klassik with its rich and rounded body. The beer served in Café & Ølhalle ‘1892’ is brewed according to old traditions. You should also try Arbejder Gylden, a wonderful aquavit distilled for Café & Ølhalle ‘1892’ exclusively.
Guests paying a visit to the Café & Ølhalle ‘1892’ will be welcomed by host, chef Jesper Holmberg, who together with his waiters and chefs capture a cheerful atmosphere and this is an extra ingredient in his delicious meals.
